Graduation Requirements

To be eligible to participate in the CLHS Graduation ceremony in May, students need to do the following: students must be on the Final Grad List posted in March and have paid the $60 graduation fee.

In order to make the Final Grad List, students must meet the following requirements:

• be in good academic standing
• be registered for and/or completed all courses required for graduation
• have to have paid all school fees 

Making the final grad list DOES NOT ensure graduation. Students must meet the criteria set by Alberta Education in order to receive their high school diploma.

Graduation Requirements

Students at Cold Lake High School can graduate with either an Alberta High School Diploma or a Certificate of High School Achievement. The requirements for each can be found on the Alberta Website.

Every student in Alberta has a MyPass Account with the Alberta Government. This site is very important as it is where students can:

• check their progress towards their diploma or certificate
• order official transcripts
• check their grades on their Provincial Diploma Exams
• register and pay to rewrite Provincial Diploma Exams
• order a reprint of their high school diploma or certificate of achievement
• order letters confirming their school enrollment for Revenue Canada, Child Benefit, or other purposes
